On this day in 1692, Martha Corey, Mary Easty, Alice Parker, Mary Parker, Ann Pudeator, Wilmot Redd, Margaret Scott, and Samuel Wardell were hanged for witchcraft in Salem, Massachusetts. They were the final executions carried out by the infamous Salem Witch Trials.
