On this day in 1989, Tass, the official Soviet news agency, confirmed that a UFO had landed in a public park in Voronezh. The occupants of the craft were described as being nine to twelve feet tall, with tiny knob like heads. After a short walkabout in the park, they retired to their spherical craft and flew off, leaving a twenty foot wide indentation in the ground.
